this was my "advertising budget". And get this...it worked! It worked REALLY well. It took awhile to take off but eventually people remembered that on Wednesday my stream was the stream to go to. I grew a ton that year. Try investing in yourself. You're worth it.

@alkali_layke I try doing that sometimes but the problem is to give away a small bundle or portrait you have to add the person in game and then wait for 3 days till you can send a gift. I wish we could purchase codes of smaller items so the viewer instantly redeems it. Or does that exist?

@BabyBearHS Yes, this is true. It was not an easy process. I had to keep a little spreadsheet and set reminders for myself to follow up with the gift. I hear ya! but hey...it was worth it

@alkali_layke @BabyBearHS As someone who does giveaways all the time, it is 100% worth it, and I go through the 3 day friend list hurdle every time. Cool upside to it, you get to meet some of your viewers and interact with them on a more personal level which can be really nice.

@ZeddyHS @alkali_layke I do it sometimes but I'm almost scared the promotion is gonna end before the 3day period or that I'll somehow forget. Gonna do it more often though cause I like making people happy with gifts 😁

@BabyBearHS @ZeddyHS So many platforms have such easy to use giveaway features. If I remember right, I loved the Stream Elements giveaway feature. You could upload a photo of card packs and reuse old campaigns. So easy

@TitoSantanaHS I think I was around 3k and 50CCV. I'd have to go back and check though. It's been awhile! But I quickly went from 3k to 10k
