I haven't seen anybody make a video on this yet, so let me know if somebody has! If you're hosting multiplayer mode in Scarlet/Violet with 1 other person and you find a shiny, turn off autosave and save in front of the Pokemon. Then, let the other member of your party catch it.

After they save, restart your game and the Pokemon will still be there. Congrats! You've duped the Pokemon.
