i'm in the market for a new monitor setup, probably high end screens I won't replace for a few years anyone buy a monitor recently they were happy with? dual monitor setup, so I'm not sure if curved monitors will work, give me pro tips!

@IksarHS i use dell panels exclusively (mounted with monitor arms) and i am happy - though they aren't equivalent size because i have three high frame rate in the middle for content+gaming, portrait on right for discord+slack, wide on left for browsing+other stuff

@RidiculousHat @IksarHS They are also indestructible and it’s rare to get too many dead pixels. Good suggestion.

@Alucard_bu @RidiculousHat @IksarHS I didn't even know Razer made monitors until Z got me one for Xmas, but I love it. https://t.co/8z5hfpKO9e

@IksarHS Are you willing to consider curved? I’m using a 49” Samsung odyssey g9, I’ll never go back

@chaggi i thought about it, having two monitors seems important because I have so many apps open at the same time.... with a big enough monitor maybe it's not a problem...

@IksarHS I’m madly in love with my Samsung g7. For gaming I didn’t want to go above 24 but wanted 1440p so the 27” was the smallest(was actually more expensive than the 32 and I still got the 27) as shooters get harder and you lose huds in your peripheral. The curve helps with that too.

@apDrop considering this, it looks like it has a built in kvm switch to swap between work and home pc too... i've been skeptical about dual monitor curved setups tho, maybe i'd get 3 and line them up not sure

@IksarHS The right fancy pants answer is the 38” Alienware with the 24” Alienware vertically next to it. On the ergotron HX monitor arm
