hey @Celestalon, getting some reports of 4 commons and a signature legendary from prerelease openings. early interviews indicated these cards were replacing commons - what does it mean if they're in the rare slot?

@RidiculousHat There's no special "rare slot". There's merely a guarantee that you'll get at least a rare in each pack.

@Celestalon so this is functioning as intended? do these signatures get in the way of our normal legendary openings? pack logic is pretty fuzzy and i wanna make sure i understand what's happening

@RidiculousHat No, Normal Legendaries and Signature Legendaries are separate.

@Celestalon @RidiculousHat Follow up Q: When signature cards create other cards, are they normal or golden? It's one of the things I like most about goldens.

@timothydclark @RidiculousHat Golden. (Or even Signature if the thing they create happens to also have a Signature version.)

@RidiculousHat @timothydclark Nope. The both fall back to Golden.

@RidiculousHat @Celestalon I hated signatures legendaries. If a legendary is nerfed we will not be able to get the dust refund

@pedronarciso @Celestalon but otherwise you just... wouldn't have had the legendary. you wouldn't get dust in that case either

@RidiculousHat @Celestalon are signatures legendaries separate from normal Legendaries and their drop rate is not influenced?

@pedronarciso @Celestalon yes they are separate and their drop rates do not seem to interact https://t.co/cmdkbmxuv1

@RidiculousHat @pedronarciso I know people are suspicious, I get it. But really, we made Signatures in packs just pure upside in every possible way. They're just extra legendaries, on top of whatever else you were going to get.

@Celestalon @RidiculousHat @pedronarciso Except in the big bundle. Signatures instead of golden legendaries is, imo a downgrade

@Joe_Psycho_HS @RidiculousHat @pedronarciso Thus why I said Signatures *in packs*. I realize that Signatures in the bundle are seen as a downside to some, and we're taking that feedback into account.

@Celestalon @RidiculousHat do signatures legendaries affect the drop of golden legendaries or are they also separate? thanks for clarifying doubts. The whole community is pretty confused about this

@pedronarciso @RidiculousHat No affect on golden legendaries. Really, they're just pure upside.
