Just started a little blog on game design stuff! My first post is on the books that helped me grow most a designer (spoiler: none of them are about video games/game design). https://t.co/8eKK2sqMpN

      @AlecoGereco @Celestalon Fantastic post Aleco! Have you read Scott McCloud's Understanding Comics? It sits right up there with the Design of Everyday Things as my favorite book to inform game design that isn't about games.

        @BrendenSewell @Celestalon No I haven't! I immediately added it to my reading list, your last suggestion for non-violent communication was excellent so I'm sure this will be too.

          @AlecoGereco @BrendenSewell @Celestalon Without context, hearing that someone suggested you try "non-violent communication" makes me think your default was "very violent communication" lol

            @AlecoGereco @BrendenSewell @Celestalon "Have you tried not punching and just talking to them instead?" "Wait that's an option?!?"

              @LoewenMitchell @AlecoGereco @Celestalon I can’t condone bringing a great sword to a green-light proposal, but I won’t deny it is an effective persuasion tool.
