Move in date confirmed and movers booked. By the end of March 6th we'll officially be moved in!!! Lots of steps in the meantime both for the move & surgery prep, but AT LEAST THE SCHEDULE IS SET. Bonus: K-Dubs has been extremely helpful in making sure things happen. https://t.co/Ey7lJlnwb8

Stair railings were painted when we went by today! Surprise BEES. 🐝 Ended up doing less than planned since we don't want new hardware to get in contractors' way, but did get around to replacing air filters and taking off weird cabinet stickers left around the house (terrible). https://t.co/MhAav24TOL

Started the day out strong organizing the house and staging for faucet/hardware replacement work, ended the day finding out the reason our pipes were leaking when we turned the water off is because they (and probably every other pipe in the house) have the wrong valves. 🥲

😓 The valves have won. Even with the right tools, new valves, & connecting pieces, our cold water pipe is still leaking. Water to the house is off, lines out for a plumber for tomorrow during the move. Shout out to my dad who stayed on the line with us the whole time. https://t.co/8TNt74tw4f

Went back to the apartment to get more scraps, then our Big Project for the day was installing most* of our new Bathroom Hardware! Featuring our most aesthetic bathroom for now. *We are not installing faucets until we get a plumbing evaluation after the horrors of The Kitchen. https://t.co/3gBXF79MDC

Delay due to Recovery Things, but some good news!: - Our hardwired house is fully working now! The Office has functioning Ethernet ports! - All the boxes are out of the Bedroom. We still have some art to hang, but it's nice being able to see the floor basically fully now.

- The Kitchen is basically unpacked. We're still organizing counters, but more boxes yeeted. - The Laundry Room is ready for appliances. - ...and those appliances are coming on Thursday (and we will be grilling the shit out of them to make sure we don't have dishwasher part 2).
