@ClarkHELLSCREAM @Hearth_Tech @LovelyDuke_HS @hsdecktech If im understanding correctly - its destroying all spells that currently cost 1? Iirc this is intended. The old way it worked of looking at definitional cost isnt consistent with other similar effects

@MyntyPhresh @ClarkHELLSCREAM @Hearth_Tech @LovelyDuke_HS @hsdecktech It's only ever considered the original cost of a spell, never its changed cost. Definitely changed interaction which I'd consider a bug.

@ZeddyHS @ClarkHELLSCREAM @Hearth_Tech @LovelyDuke_HS @hsdecktech what im saying is that this isnt how it should have ever worked based on the card text

@MyntyPhresh @ZeddyHS @Hearth_Tech @LovelyDuke_HS @hsdecktech Out of curiosity, why was this change made so late? I'm not sure where to find it, but this Skulking Giest interaction has been discussed, and before, we were told it was SUPPOSED TO only affect natural 1 mana cards, nothing discounted. When did this philosophy change?

@ClarkHELLSCREAM @ZeddyHS @Hearth_Tech @LovelyDuke_HS @hsdecktech since the creation of this card weve had a looot more effects that adjust Cost in hand and/or deck, and this card is a standout inconsistency in the interactions with a card's definitional cost vs their current cost. its an adjustment of an older card to match modern interactions

@ClarkHELLSCREAM @ZeddyHS @Hearth_Tech @LovelyDuke_HS @hsdecktech confusion caused by Geist is evidenced by what seemed like once-a-month posts online being like "wait why did Geist destroy this card" or "why DIDN'T Geist destroy this card". this change helps uphold the "what you see is what you get" tenet we have in HS
