I couldn’t do the second level math class required for my liberal arts education (math 12). I barely got through the first one (math 11) with a C. Two weeks into math 12 and I’m already behind. I told myself after class that day I’d talk to the teacher about a tutor. https://t.co/tE0X3Z1kl7

I talked to a school counselor and convinced them I just couldn’t do it. They eventually agreed to put me into math 6, which was basically their remedial math for athletes, art majors, etc.

Math 6 was “logic and probabilities”—basically a bunch of questions about card games, dice, and logic problems—stuff that, as a gamer, was right up my alley! I ended up getting an A+ and getting asked to become a math tutor. 😂
