I want to take a moment to talk about why this set means so much to me, my connection to Hearthstone and music, and to just send thanks to everyone involved in both of these aspects of my life. Why? Because I'm an emotional person and I like to share things about myself LOL

HS was HUGE for me in high school and college. It was common ground that got me to connect with so many amazing friends, most of which I'm still close to today. Here's a 2015 clip of my Iron Juggernaut deck FINALLY winning against my friend that I would play with almost daily :') https://t.co/fle0JYIc1f

Games in general have been core to who I am since waaaay before Hearthstone, but this game is one of the few that I've really never managed to put down. I think if I told high school Leo that he'd be working on HS and leading an expansion, he'd implode.

Music is a whole 'nother thing. My dad was the main person that started my love for music. He would always share his rock albums when we were in the car, and was always eager to listen to any music I shared with him. He also helped make my deadmau5 helmet for Halloween in 2011 :D https://t.co/rXvteNOSgc

As I kept listening to music, I got more and more interested in making music. My parents signed me up for both piano and guitar lessons; here's a video of me in 2013 super proud that I learned a part of deadmau5's "Some Chords" on the piano (yes I really liked deadmau5) https://t.co/9otX3aASdv

Unfortunately, guitar and piano didn't stick with me for long. Thankfully, I had gotten super into making music on my laptop! I even convinced my parents to let me to go a different middle school than my brother and sister did just because they had a digital music class :D

Towards the end of college I decided to focus as much as possible on Game Design and less on music, eventually dropping music as a thing I did to be able to focus on my studies and job search stuff. Looking back I am a bit sad that I didn't try to find some outlet for music, BUT:

@CoffeeSandwhich to be fair, idk if thats really a matter of age lol. I was extremely EXTREMELY hesitant to ever really go to any live shoes for a myriad of reasons (most of which were stupid in hindsight), and i only went to this one because my sister got me the tickets as a bday gift
