I'm thinking about the time I sent @hsdecktech a congratulatory alcohol after he got the Hearthstone gig, but they had to send it back because he didn't have a valid ID. That was the one gift you ever get from me friend. Never again.

@stormraige23 It was the pandemic and I hadn’t driven in like a year so I didn’t bother! 😭

@hsdecktech @stormraige23 I’ll never stop being impressed by the fact that the only ID people in the US have is their Driving’s License

@RaneTDF @stormraige23 I didn’t think to give that person my passport and, I don’t know if they would have taken it, but I do have one!

@stormraige23 @RaneTDF I honestly could t tell you if that was expired or not at the time, too—I kind of ceased to exist for a year there.

@hsdecktech @stormraige23 Oh, passports are for rich people who travel here. We have a National ID card. Actually it became a card in the past 10’years, before that it was a booklet like the passport but smaller. You can’t survive without that in Argentina, driver’s licenses aren’t considered ids 😂

@RaneTDF @stormraige23 Interesting! We have social security cards, but as far as I can tell they only exist for you to guard them with your life and never let them see the light of day.
