      i just feel like the power of the strike is in members denying their labor, and the collision of "secondary labor" (promotion) with "non members" is likely unintuitive to a lot of cosplayers/influencers to the extent that it seems difficult to convince people to adhere to

              @JeffAHamilton Huh. I'm not sure that's very clear to me. I might be being biased by what I'd expect, but I read that as referring to paid performers, not unpaid fans/hobbyists. Everything else I've seen has been like "we're not calling for a boycott, keep being a fan of our work".
