Kael'thas was released two years ago today

Today marks the second anniversary of everyone favorite Multiclass(Ace Assassin/Siege Specialist). Kael’thas has been in the nexus for 2 years now.

Though his storyline was butchered in Wow, his resurgence continues in the nexus. It has been a great salami year for the Sun king. Blizzards rework in 2 stages sought to reduce his usage, but as is the general theme of Kael’thas, it was merely a setback. His builds enjoy +50% winrate and while his nonexistent talent variety at places would warrant another rework, it probably causes PTSD for the balance team at this point. So the Sun King will continue his march unopposed.

This is indeed a great time to main Kael’thas. All the slippery Overwatch heroes puts higher demand on CC, so Gul’dan and Li-ming has both fallen below 50%. The reduced map pool has also removed pesky maps like Dragon Shire, that promotes spreading out and has instead focused on maps that forces teamfights and rewards zoning, like Sky temple. This makes it a great map pool for Kael’thas and therefore a great map pool for Hots^/s

This is the point where I outline the request for the year. No i am not going to ask for a skin, we all know how that went… No what Kael’thas need more than anything is some updated intro dialogues. Kael’thas is the most insulted Hero in all of HotS. It has actually been somewhat refreshing to main KT with the bugged intro dialogues.

2 years since release really shows. Kael’thas’ dialogues were lacking at release but it has gotten progressively worse. He doesn’t have general dialogues for magic users like Li-ming. He doesn’t have dialogues for royalty and he doesn’t have a specific dialogue for Blood Elf skins, like Tyrande’s or Spellbreaker Johanna.

It also doesn’t help that Heroes of the Storm Warcraft Assassins happen to be synonymous with Heroes of the “People who mock Kael’thas”. For 2 months, from December to January Blizzard released nothing but Heroes insulting Kael’thas. Give him a break already. And give him some proper responses.

Look i am sure that Quinton Flynn is busy with some unannounced Metal Gear rising sequel or something. But Blizzard, PLEASE try to set up for another recording session. We need a Kael’thas announcer. We need something else than “lets get this over with”. And we need Kael’thas to put that peasant Valeera in her place when she dares to question her king.

That is my request for the year. ^{Give us a voiced legendary skin too}
