I'm bored at an airport... BUT OH BOY AM I HYPED FOR MID SEASON BRAWL! Why are you too?

I'm sat in Katowice airport, bored, waiting to go home after commentating some StarCraft here, and i'm totally hyped for the Mid Season Brawl coming up! I, like the rest of the talent, will be flying out there in just a few days and there is SO much to be excited about. Theres a few things that really have me intrigued though.

The clash of continents. Historically the meta has evolved more during a few specific events than others. Those were BlizzCon, and last years Summer Championship, which included possibly one of the best series of all time between MVP Black and Tempest. That meta shake-up is upon us again! The teams are bootcamping and practicing hard (Dignitas for example are here in Katowice, I ran into them at their training house). Unlike those other past events though, while there were some distinct regional differences before, they've never really been as predominant as they are lately. We are in for a truly special tournament.

Can EU go all the way and upset KR fully? We all know its doable. I will admit that when Fnatic beat Black, the Korean team didn't look in the greatest form. With their new roster I believe they'll have a much better showing than their BlizzCon semi-final placement. And yes L5 looks as always incredibly strong, plus MVP Black did beat them at the Eastern Clash, but the legacy of Fnatic's glorious BlizzCon upset cannot be denied.

America's opportunity to prove the doubters wrong. I'll be honest, I was one of them for a while. In the second part of phase 1 though i've witnessed a more conscious effort for them to fuel that fire underneath them. Burning from their results at the western clash, and eager for international competition again, i'm hoping for even more well-planned and executed strategies, not dissimilar to the diablo/medivhs of this world. (Justing is NA MVP atm?)

The smaller regions go from strength to strength. Every event they're underestimated, and every event they show just how hungry they are. Nomia, DeadlyKittens, Soul Torturers and RED Canids are teams full of Heroes veterans by now that i'm closely keeping my eye on. Familiar faces that we will tell you the stories and pasts of as we enter the group stage in the first few days.

    Is there a good place to watch HoTS VoDs? It's hard for me to keep up with things like this because I rarely watch it live. The only time I've seen VoDs mentioned people point to random youtube channels whose VoD coverage is spotty at best. Looking for something like the loleventvods subreddit, makes it so much easier to keep up with the scene.
