The symbol on Morale's shield always puzzled me, but I figured it out

It's a combination of the Raynor's Raiders logo with the traditional medical symbol, Caduceus' staff. Very Cool. Which explains why Raynor says something like, "Surprised to see you here in the nexus" - He probably actually knew her, or at least recognized his own medical corp symbol. She definitely knew him.

    Hey, fun fact, did you know that the staff with two snakes, when used in a medical context is actually incorrect? The 2 snaked Caduceus was originally associated with Hermes, the god of commerce and thieves. Where as the staff with one snake, the rod of asclepius or asklepius, was the one traditionally associated with medicine and health.

    It's awesome that you dove so deep into this! All Character texture sheets are one size. Characters like Lt. Morales have a lot of surface area. Characters like murky <3 have much less surface area but get the same size map.

    In the case of a character like Lt. Morales we have to pick which parts are unique and what parts get mirrored. Her shield was mirrored to give other parts of her body more texture resolution.

    We like to include things like this when the technical restraints allow us to! Imagine future skins that have asymmetrical designs for her shield. life finds a way.
