HGC 2017 Details

Next Tuesday (November 1), we’re bringing in a few of the experts whose hard work went into creating the recently announced 2017 Heroes of the Storm Esports plans to tackle any questions or feedback you have about everything that’s coming next year. This will be your opportunity to ask questions about upcoming events, new tournament formats, rules, regulations, or anything else you’d like to know about Heroes of the Storm Esports!

On deck to answer your questions, we will have:

Sam Braithwaite (Heroes Esports Lead)

Matt MacNeil (Heroes Esports Coordinator)

The Q&A will be starting at 9:30 AM PDT, Tuesday November 1, so have your questions ready!

I don't think that I will be able to be in time but just a reminder of relevant topics:

How accesible are Replays and VODs going to be this time, for ALL the Major regions?

English cast for Eastern Clash?

English cast for China and Korea?

For winning teams that are unhappy with their roster it is very hard to get the downtime to change rosters.

1st of each major region will not have step-ladder tournament AND 1st round of groups during mid season. Are they going to face a different patch during the 2nd round of Mid-Season for the first time?

HGC-Final has 3 spots for the major regions. Is there gonna be invitation to minor regions?

The contract may be secret but are you going to be public about the generals terms of this so amateurs could be aware of them before hand?

Online competitions with money on the line. How prominent do you think cheating in HGC is going to be?

There is no time for 3rd party tournaments.
