Just want to say I absolutely fucking love this feature, by far one of the coolest things (for me) you guys have done in a while. Was always fascinated by similar metrics calculated by 3rd part sites, but getting it in this great detail from the source is so damn amazing.

    thanks :D

/u/NeoLexical is there any chance we'll get something a little more in-depth about how exactly we can read the stats? Like what the grades mean? This page is a good start, but I'm still not sure I completely understand what I'm looking at outside of "I'm doing better/worse than the average player at my skill level."

Stats tab can be a bit overwhelming, we anticipated as such. Its a hard balance to give enough details but not be prescriptive. We don't want to tell players "this is the way to play league". I'm a big believer in different styles finding what works for you.

The process I go through when learning a new champ is usually: Copy someone else, become comfortable and experiment, then find whats right for me that can be vastly different than "meta". We don't want to become a checklist of do this and this and this, but rather give data points that can guide decisions.

That being said, I think there is def more that can be done to help better understanding of the different stats.

You mean my favorite indie company wasn't tracking my champion's position, cooldowns, clicks, and actions back in 2009?

    I are disappoint.

Thank you so much for your hard work though!

    :P

Did you change much recently? What made you start to collect more data now? is it difficult to hold info from so many games or did you manage with the old tech?

We implemented a few new tracking at beginning of the season. I think there was new added stats previous to that as well. Example: Vision score wasn't available for the first few seasons.

I have to say I'm pretty disappointed that I wont be able to see stats from previous seasons after I've played for so many. Still, this is an appreciated implementation and I can't wait to use it :)

You and me both :( I was pretty heartbroken after engineers investigated and broke the news to me... seems like we weren't collecting stats in this great detail back then.
