Update: We have confirmed that there are players who were unable to redeem the code due to the system issues during the initial spike of code redemption, and are now receiving a "Code Redeem Error" without receiving the esports starter kit.

If this is happening to you, please contact our game support team so they can help you out.

just to let you know, i certainly didn't redeem the code successfully, as i didn't have and still don't have many of the cards on the list. (obviously that means i also didn't already own all the cards being given ;) )

but yeah kk i'll contact support then just wanted to let you know here that some accounts are for certain becoming bugged so those here know ;)

And thank you for the reports! We have confirmed that there are some players who did get stuck in a 'bad state', but if you reach out to Customer Support they can grant you the starter kit!

As far as we are aware, this only impacted players are those who tried to redeem during the initial spike, and those players are now receiving a "Code Redeem Failure" message.

possibly. i think the codes ive used are: closed beta planeswalkers, playravnica, and twitchcon selesnya deck.

well we know the server doesnt believe you already have the code because according to the article it would say that. so im with you on waiting and trying again later.
Previous code redemption will have zero impact on redeeming this one. If you're still having issues, either one of two things happened:
- The code successfully redeemed, but your'e still receiving error messages due to the earlier 'hug of death'. Be sure to check your collections for the cards.
  
  And if you already owned every copy, it would have contributed towards your vault progress
- Your account is stuck in some kind of 'bad state' of schrödinger's code redemption, where the the server isn't sure and is spitting out a generic error message as a result.
  
  If you believe this is the case,please contact support so they can take a deeper look at your account.

You can only redeem a code for (1) one esports starter kit regardless of which (space free) version of the code you use. All the details can be found, here: https://magic.wizards.com/en/promotions
