I never got prompted to merge my accounts
After I logged in during the open beta, before it went live at like 5pm, you know, when a lot of people got on, I never got prompted to officially merge them, or keep my name or w.e
happen to anyone else?

The process should have been fairly seamless, which is why you might not seen a 'prompt'. The first time you logged into the the Open Beta client you would have been taken to a screen where you needed to confirm your username, password, and accept the ToS/Privacy Policy. This is where you would have been able to update your username if you desired, though it would have autofilled it from whatever you used for Closed Beta.
If you didn't, or for some reason weren't able to, you can always Contact Support and request a change.
