Do we know which of these categories Phyrexian falls into?
A constructed language (entirely novel grammar and vocabulary, not necessarily related to or inspired by any existing language, see /r/conlangs for more info)
A relex (words have different forms than in English, but the grammar closely mirrors that of English, e.g. the dragon language from Skyrim)
A cipher (it’s actually straight up English but hidden behind an obfuscating writing system and possibly some substitution rules)
We've made public that it's the first - this is a fully realized conlang with grammar and syntax that's miles away from English.
Now, the exact rules of that grammar and syntax... that's for you all to decipher. :)

I wasn't in-house when this all began; I know we hired someone, but I don't know who.
