    Thanks rubenburgt! <3

I know only a couple of us post frequently; a lot of my replies are a result of someone on the team coming to me and talking about a post they've seen here or on the forums.

Thanks back to all of you for being super rad.

So I sent you a private message on here awhile ago and (understandably) never got a response, but it sounds like you're more likely to see a message if someone happens to point you to it, so here's hoping:

I would absolutely love if you or someone on the technical team gave some kind of tech talk on how the Overwatch system works. I understand you have a brand new, internally built engine, and as that's proprietary I'm sure there's not much detail you can divulge, but any high level/architectural type details would be really interesting.

I myself am a software engineer and absolutely love the game, but I can never find much info on how the game works from a technical standpoint, and that's something that fascinates me. So if it's at all possible, I'd love to see info on that at some point!

And thank you so much for this incredible game :)

Hey there! As u/Breakshadow_L commented, Overwatch had a lot of presentations at GDC2017. I am not certain how many are available without GDC Vault, but I think over time videos are put up on YouTube as well as being in the vault. If you can check these out I highly recommend it!

Our engineers do press events and speak at conferences now and again. If you post some topics you'd like to hear about I'll be sure to talk with our technical director about how we may find opportunities to share more stuff about the things you'd like to hear about.

    Cheers!
