We have already discussed doing a full evaluation on the paddings/margins of everything. It's hard to get it perfect with only a few select people being privy to the design. Now that we have it out in the public all this feedback is very valuable. Thank you for your comment.

np. Glad you're willing to take feedback :)

I tinkered around in photoshop for a minute to scale down some of the vertical padding, obviously it's a little rough but imo the site would look perfect with just a little less vertical spread: http://i.imgur.com/UjhzH.jpg

I like the concept, I think it would be fine if you toned down the padding. There's just so much empty space all over, which means I have to scroll more to see more content.

On the front page of r/wow, in Chrome, fully maximized browser window at 1920x1080, I can only see 7 submissions before scrolling. On r/starcraft I can see 11. On r/games, I can see 15. That means not only more scrolling (which is annoying for the end user), but the submissions farther down the page will get less visibility. I'm not expecting a fully minimalist style like r/games, but there's quite a bit of "fat" that can be trimmed out between things.
