Any interest in an AMA with a baddie who plays WoW for a living?
A bit about me: I'm Lore, Site Director of TankSpot.com where I have two YouTube series: The Weekly Marmot and PST. I also produce and co-host Legendary on Gamebreaker.TV. All of this combined is my job -- I've been doing this for a living for nearly 3 years now.
I've been lurking on this subreddit for quite a while (though admittedly I don't post very often). I've gotten pings from time to time from people asking if I'd be interested in doing an AMA, but I thought I'd ask the greater community here if they'd be interested in such a thing first. It'd be a true AMA (no stupid Rampart nonsense) minus obvious things like NDAs or other junk that'd get me in trouble. And I'd of course provide proof of identity.
I get a lot of random questions for PST that don't really fit into the show, and I figure an AMA is a good way to actually answer those. It sounds like fun to me, but what do you think?
UPDATE: Holy balls, that's a lot of positive response. Alright, lets do this thing. Will update when I have a better idea of when.
UPDATE 2: Let's call it Monday. It's a US holiday and I should be around most of the day/evening. I'll get it started around 3pm EST and just keep checking in until I go to bed (which will probably be sometime around 6am or so)
UPDATE 3: Here's proof of identity: https://twitter.com/devolore/status/241726602919165954

Yeah, been working with the new Wowhead staff quite a bit lately too :)

Sure thing, I'll let you know when I'm about to post it :)

And if I refuse?

Not sure yet. It'll be a day or so - maybe Monday, after PAX is over? Want to be able to give people advance notice.
EDIT: Would probably be a most-of-the-day thing also, where I keep up with it as much as I can throughout the day.

Definitely. There are certainly limits but I hate AMAs where people just straight up ignore burning questions because it doesn't let them promote their product or whatever.
