The fact that demons tagged by the enemy faction give you no credit makes zero sense.

The faction rivalry has always seemed forced to me, but never moreso then in this expansion which starts out with our faction leaders fighting the demons together! But god forbid we do that.

Why in god's name would I not help those humans kill that demon? I'm a tauren, we care not for Sylvanas' and Greymanes' petty squabbles, we are here to fight the Burning Legion.

At least on a pve server, this faction specific tagging is stupid, frustrating, and doesn't even fit with the lore.

EDIT: One of the biggest disconnects for me is; 'Oh you just fought a humongous demon? Well a human touched it first, so you didn't learn anything at all from that fight.' 'I JUST KILLED A HUGE DEMON I DEFINITELY GAINED EXPERIENCE'

FINAL EDIT: PvP players enjoy tagging as it gives them a reason to fight. I think there should be two different systems, one on PvE servers where we get to work together, and one on PvP servers where it stays the same. Those of us who chose PvE servers did so because we don't care for faction squabbling, which faction-specific tagging is a form of.

I do find it to be somewhat of an understatement to summarize the accusation that the newly-appointed leader of the Horde retreated unnecessarily from a conflict with the Burning Legion in an attempt to get the leadership of the Alliance killed, which resulted in the death of the King of Stormwind, as "petty squabbles."

Important to remember perspectives of characters who can't go back and watch both cinematics ;)
