After some thought I'm curious.... How many wow redditors beat the original C'thun fight at lvl 60, and what was your opinion of it?
The reason I'm so curious is that (as I mentioned in another thread) I feel that c'thun is one of the most flawlessly designed raid bosses in the game's history. It required complete orginization and cooperation of all 40 raid members. Timing, communication, maximum dps output were all extremely vital. The whole raid had to move as a group, rotate in a pattern, spread out into out quadrants.
Either I'm totally crazy and the fight wasn't that good.... or nobody killed the asshole. lol. I rarely ever hear people talking about it.

Killed him roughly a month after Naxx dropped. I think C'thun was probably one of the best 40-man encounters. Also illustrated pretty well the (in my opinion) biggest problem with hardcore 40-man raiding. If even one person wasn't in the right spot, you could pretty much instantly wipe -- and when you're trying to field a raid of 40, very few groups will ever have 40 people who are all of the same caliber. Got really tiring wiping over and over and over because the same 2 or 3 people could never line up properly.
