This first batch of invitations will mainly go out to long-time WoW players with active accounts in good standing, as well as Blizzard friends and family, along with a limited number of content creators and journalists

The way it sounds, the lion's share of invites will go to regular people. The number of invites going to journalists and content creators will be substantially smaller. But sometimes there's no convincing people of that; they see 10 streamers get in and they assume that streamers are the only ones who got invites.

I've had an active sub since day 1 and this is my first beta/alpha invite. :')
