Almost 15 years since the release of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and more than 8 years since it was officially revealed, The Elder Scrolls VI finally has a subtitle. Sentinel will release... sometime in the future, we weren't given a date. Or much of anything, really, since the trailer is just a sand dune seen from above that slowly reveals the name.
Once the dust - or, rather, sand - settles, we get the following quote from Yazar, Moth Priest to High Queen Iradne of Hammerfell: The scroll offered only a shimmer, a veil thinly lifted to my eyes. A future lost. A victory undone. Sands of time scattered by fate.
Neither Yazer nor Queen Iradne are pre-established character, but it's probably safe to assume the game will take place in Hammerfell, which does have a massive desert. The Cult of the Ancestor Moth, which Yazer is presumably a Priest of, are the only people allowed to read the titular Elder Scrolls.
