Notes
Legends of Runeterra Development
- Ursine-Volibear-Poro mashup had been discussed as a possibility (and is the basis for the art drawn in the stream) .
- Designers work ahead first (regions, VO, etc.), then art comes.
- Followers designed to work thematically with champions.
- Ursine Spiritwalker, Neverglade Collector, and Overgrown Snapvine were a few cards that he worked on.
- The piece in the stream is not going to be in the game.
- Concept art is drawn "for the most part".
Miscellaneous/Funny
- Splash art takes "weeks worth of hours".
- Chris's favorite champion is Braum.
- Chris is S tier with Bard.
- Skeezis's name originates from his dog's name, which itself originates from a comic.
- Poros do not have bottom lips.
- Chris has a cat named Huckleberry.
- "Chonk" is the name given to this Poro by the chat.
- Ornn was the most complicated champions to draw for LoL.
- Chris would live in Freljord if he were to live in Runeterra, but says that Piltover & Zaun would probably be the most "realistic" answer.
- Freljord characters are "so terribly badass" that they don't need shirts.
- Chris played Hearthstone before working on the LoR team.
- Pyke had longer hair at one point. It was cut (no pun intended) for the sake of the game.
