We've got a pre-patch notes update to share this evening with regards to the upcoming cross-shard friend challenges which was originally planned for Call of the Mountain.
- Cross-Shard Friend Challenges will not arrive this week.
- Patch 1.10, releases three weeks after Call of the Mountain, will have Cross-Shard Friend Challenges.

What are the cross shared friend challenges?
The use of the word "shard" here is very confusing to me, but after some investigation I believe it practically means cross-region friend challenges.
