Important Kaldheim Information
- Go big or go home! The overall theme of the set.
- New Mechanic: Boast - Activate this ability only if this creature attacked this turn and only once per turn.
- New Mechanic: Foretell - During your turn, you may pay (2) and exile this card from your hand face down. Cast it on a later turn for its foretell cost.
- Modal DFCs and Sagas both make a return in Kaldheim.
- Some of the art on Sagas is hand-carved!
- The Modal DFCs added in this set complete the dual land cycle that was started in Zendikar Rising.
- Snow returns!
- {S} is the snow mana symbol.
- A cost of {S} can be paid by any one mana from a snow source.
- Some of the most popular snow sources are the returning "Snow-Covered" basic lands.
- The World Tree is the origin of all life on this plane and the realms of Kaldheim grow from it.
- There are 10 realms within Kaldheim, kind of like mini-multiverses.

Arctic Treeline, Ice Tunnel, and the MDF Lands look absolutely amazing!
Edit: Also just noticed that these have basic land types. Will these be played in commander as budget friendly Ravnica Lands?
Are we seeing a return of snow mana in standard, or it it just to drop the cost in modern/commander?
Edit: Blood in the Snow is in the set. Here's to hoping for a legendary multicolored snow creature!
As someone who loves heavy metal music, I loved the stream. It had great music, but I also loved how corny it all was. I guess I just have a dumb sense of humor?
The set theme looks pretty good, and on a side-note, the snow land frames look awesome. Surprised it took them this long to do this.
