We've got some updated numbers to share with you of the distributions of Hearthstone Battlegrounds players thanks to a tweet from Dean Ayala.
Quote From Dean Ayala Battlegrounds Rating Distribution
Only includes players that have completed at least 5 games of Battlegrounds in the last 20 days.
<5000: 64% of Players
5500: Top 25%
6000: Top 17%
6500: Top 10%
7000: Top 6%
8000: Top 3%
9000: Top 1%
This is an update from a little over a year ago when Dean first tweeted out the distribution. There has been quite a shakeup with the top 1% of players now having a higher rating than before and we can see players in the middle of the pack have different distributions than before.

I don't really get the idea behind blank MMR numbers without any easily available frame of reference.
BG rankings never caught my interest. Not to mention Duels ... Even though I enjoy and play both modes from time to time.
I don't know I didn't play enough to even get my true rank yet, I am still getting 200+ for the wins, but I don't feel like playing so I am in 25% range...
5 game i did it for quest and i sure most player under 5k do the same
8300 not too bad
Again, why aren't these numbers publicly available on demand?
Instead of BG, I wanna see My Ranked rating and all top legends player rating instead.
Basically, nothing prevents them from sharing all ladder-related data on demand. Not only BG, but also everything else: Arena, Duels, Standard, Wild. But since the whole in-game UI currently sucks, seems like it's not their top-prio task.
