Discussion
This week was a bit different due to the looming but postponed balance patch, as the games started already on Wednesday with a chance of re-submitting lineups during Thursday. While no card changes took place, lineup changes certainly did. The big picture, however, remained the same: Demon Hunter and Warlock were popular all around, with Hunter and Mage being not far behind. On the other end of the spectrum, Warrior was only brought by two players (Bankyugi & Rami94), both of whom went 0-2 in their respective groups. Let's see if the balance changes can even things out next week.
How did the newcomers fare in their first Grandmasters week? No promoted player got eliminated first in their group (unless you count the re-promoted Bunnyhoppor) and each region had one newcomer in the finals. While the old Grandmasters GivePLZ and Muzzy were able to fend of the challenges of grr and Eggowaffle, respectively, Gaby was able to get the dream start to his GM career and beat Viper just like in the Masters Tour Orgrimmar final for the Europe crown this week.
The winners of Week 1.
Lastly, let's take a very early glimpse at the points standings of this season.

Comments
That top 4 in EU though, exact same as the top 4 MT Orgrimmar. And the results followed a certain pattern as well. The existence of the script has been confirmed beyond all doubts.
