Poppy is good, but the elephant in the room here is Stress Defense. That card is bananas. The first, obvious use is to protect your own units from damage-based removal spells, and possibly heal them up as well. The other use is as a Bandle City Flash Freeze. Depending on the unit you're casting it on, setting its health to 6 can be a buff or a debuff- but the fact that you can debuff the health of massive, game-ending threats like Nasus, Viego, They Who Endure, Nautilus, etc. into a range where you can kill them, is pretty crazy.
Even if you couldn't target your own units, this card would be of comparable power with Flash Freeze, so being able to use this to save your own units from removal as well is downright humiliating for Freljord and the Frostbite package. Being able to find more copies of this with Trinket Trade and Conchologist just adds salt to the wound.
It's true that this is better than frostbit when dealing with big units like Nasus, Viego, Nautilus, etc but there are many cases were frostbite is going to superior to this cards :
-Against quick attack units and lurks: Akhsan, Zed, Pyke and most of the lurk units tend to have low health allowing to get a favorable trade any time you frostbite them, with stress defense your given them 6 health which mean that they are gonna survive the trade.
-Against unit that want to strike the nexus: Champions like Ezreal, Teemo and Zoe want to strike the nexus to generate more value, card like Brittle Steel allow you to deny them that strike greatly diminishing their utility and slowing down there win con. Something you can't do with stress defense since your always giving them 1 power.
I personally just can't get into elites. Their terribly simplistic concept of swarming the board with medium sized units never looked even close to breakable or worth to brew around.
Poppy is certainly a strong champion and she will empower also elites but I really would not bet ever on an elites deck because they lack an actually own identity and they lack alternate winconditions other than winning the battle which is quite easy to shut down.
How about: we just revoke the existance of the the elite archetype until there is an actual reason to play them aka after a rework
The reason why supports synergize extremely well with poppy is:
they are relatively small units
the way attack effect caculation works you can increase poppy's power with a support before her attack ability triggers increasing her buff range this way
Yeah support/Poppy looks legit the question is do you go for Targon or Ionia, since Lulu curves into Poppy and all those elusive units will be very scary with those buffs.
Yay Poppy! And she does what I like to do: attack with buddies, and buff my units. Her level up seems like a pain, though: you have to attack three times, Poppy can't attack alone, and she must live the whole time.
Oh and "Power" is seen in both lowercase and capitalized forms. Way to stay consistent Blizzard Riot.

Elite Scouts deck with Poppy and Field Promotion. Might even give Quinn a new viable deck that doesn't have MF in it.

Poppy is soooo cute
I think I know just the right deck for this demacian "yordle with a hammer"...
First idea that come to my mind is pairing her with Azir and Emperor Dais.
I thought of Taric Poppy(targon+demacia) extra attack support tribal
Just imagine the value of supporting Poppy with a Taric who has Golden Aegis on him...

Compiling the reveal cards at the end of the trailer was a nice idea.
