The inaugural Legends of Runeterra World Championship tournament is held this week, starting today! Watch the top 16 players of the World battle it out for the coveted title and their share of the $200,000 prize pool. You can find everything you need to know below.
Tournament Format
The tournament will use the following format:
- Best-of-three Conquest.
- Four groups play a Round Robin tournament with top 2 players from each group advancing.
- Top 8 Single Elimination bracket to determine the Champion.

These are the 16 players that triumphed in their regional qualifiers and were randomly sorted in groups as follows:

The tournament will last for three days and the stream will begin at the same time every day.

You can follow the tournament live on Twitch or Youtube on the official Legends of Runeterra channels. Tune in during the broadcast (while logged in to Twitch or Youtube) to get an exclusive World Spectator card back & icon, as well as a special emote! The Twitch drops will be category-wide so any LoR channel will do!

You need to watch for 15 minutes today or tomorrow to get the card back and icon, and 15 more minutes on Saturday to get the emote. It doesn’t take long, but don’t put it off until the weekend or you’ll miss the first drop!
