Who is Participating in Theorycrafting Streams for Sunken City?
Well, Blizzard hasn't exactly made this task easy to complete, but, there are a lot more streamers than usual. Blizzard posted an official list of those participating in the Americas region since, apparently, the primary Hearthstone account only deals with North America as "each region promotes their invites differently".

Realistically, you can just go to Twitch when it starts and find someone to watch. We're recommending you check out SuperBlindman and FunkiMonki on the Standard side of things or if Wild is more your jam, ClarkHellscream and Zeddy would love to see you. Note that Kibler will not be participating anymore as his dog Shiro had to be taken to the emergency vet. Hope everything goes well, Brian & Shiro!

Pre-Release Weekend
You can open your Pre-Purchase packs early at a private pre-release Fireside Gathering the weekend before Voyage to the Sunken City goes live on April 12. Private pre-release Fireside Gatherings can take place between April 8, 10:00 a.m. (PT) and April 11, 10:00 a.m. (PT). In the event you should open them in your pre-release packs, Sir Finley, Sea Guide and Golden copies of Ambassador Faelin will eligible for full dust refunds until April 13, at 10:00 a.m. (PT).
Head over to FiresideGatherings.com to register your private event!
In light of the ongoing global health risks associated with in-person gatherings, we’ve disabled the ability to create public events. We do, however, want individuals at home to have an opportunity to partake in the upcoming pre-release weekend, so we’ll be keeping private event functionality intact.
Private Fireside Gatherings will:
- Be eligible to receive Nemsy Necrofizzle if they fulfill all hosting prerequisites. This means having an established Tavern. Learn more about how to establish your Tavern here.
- Be eligible for the Fireside Gatherings card back.
- Allow event listing creation the same day as the event is meant to be hosted.
- Have the same Fireside Brawls as public Fireside Gatherings.
- Be visible on the website to only the innkeeper hosting it. The Fireside Gathering itself will be visible in the game client and participants will be able to search for and find it in the client as well.
Private Fireside Gatherings will NOT:
- Be visible on Tavern or upcoming event pages.
- Show up in the search function on the upcoming events page.
- Count towards any Tavern or Innkeeper progression. They will not count towards establishing your Tavern. You will still need to host public events in the future as part of establishing your Tavern.

I missed that completely :(
But what I saw afterwards is, that there is a new T5-OTK because Pandaren Importer can guarantee you a Shadowstep.
I read about it too, but never saw it in action.
But looking through the list of spells, I can easily say that it'll likely end up like the old auctioneer-garotte OTK in stormwind. Because if you opponent can maintain tempo from turn 1 basically this deck is dead. In fact, if you play Blademaster Okani your opponent would need the second importer, or pirate before they can shoot off.
After watching a few streams, my own observations of sunken city's cards; Click on your own discretion
- Murlock is looking decently strong, even against classes with plenty of board clears. Chum Bucket and Rock Bottom are unexpectedly some of the stronger cards. Basically there's some really powerful things that you can do with your murlocs, but sometimes it just falls flat after your opponent clears your board more than once.
- Mech pally is solid. Mech mage is trash. Mostly because there's no way for mage to come back on board, unlike pally which at very least has divine shielded minions. I foresee mage playing mechs in big spell archetypes, rather than actually as an archetype on its own. Gaia is definitely holding its own, much to my surprise.
- Miracle mage and priest are really good decks that can be top contenders as the deck list gets better. Silence priest is somewhat solid, very dependent on draws.
- Pirate rogue and warrior…lets not even discuss this. If either are not tier 1 or 2 on launch then something has gone wrong somewhere. To no one's surprise Pufferfist is a very good card for both. I expect pirate warrior to get worse as the meta solidifies, but rogue looks good
- Curselock is surprisingly okay. If Backfire was still in standard this deck may actually be insane. Brann Bronzebeard and zola making so the curses actually stand a chance of finishing the opponent. But I suspect this is not warlock's best deck
- Amalgam of the Deep is probably the most played card in the streams. But that's largely because everyone is testing decks and blizz requires them to have at least 10 sunken city cards. But from what Ive seen, this card has a definite chance at overperforming in its role.
- Reno decks kinda looks meme to be honest. But this may be due to unrefined deck lists.
