Rise of Shadows community card reveals started today with a live stream from Blizzard! Today's stream is hosted by Peter Whalen, Chris Sierra, and Cora "Songbird" Georgiou.

  • Hench-Clan Burglar is what I wanted against Rogues as a Thief Rogue honestly.

    Khadgar + Jan'alai, the Dragonhawk is a great combo. And also support for Astromancer + Archmage Arugal; and even Splitting Image. I feel like we could have a viable hand Mage with pings on paper in next rotation. I liked the card tbh.

  • Soooooo boring the stream, I miss Ben Brode a lot...
    Also I don't have seen something special in these cards, Boom Warrior? Minion Mage? Both strange and not very promising, but with the revolution of the meta, who knows 

  • Almost every card that was revealed today has something to it that makes me want to try it! I think that is the best we can wish for. Still very excited for this expansion! :D

      I don't want to bring the terror topic here but Terror is a kind of weapon of countries; not cults, religions, races or groups.

      You obviously saw that in new zealand yet and still you are relating bombs with muslims even in a game forum. Your brain is sick.

  • I have mixed feelings about the new Dr. Boom, the rest of cards seems fine. 

    Also I have seen only a part of the reveal stream, but from my point of view it lacked enthusiasm. Ben Brode is still really hard to replace.

  • So many cool cards, i cant wait for the rest

  • The most enticing to play for me so far is Khadgar, but as for the stream itself it was a huge letdown. Not enough cards shown / low class diversity in the cards that were shown. 

  • Dr. Boom is the biggest disapointment of the set so far for me. Everything about it is wrong.

    Staff

  • I was excited to see Heistmaster Togwaggle, fantastic and strong legendary, but he really scares me about becoming the Barnes of Standard. Fair enough, it'll come way, way later in the game, but it will always be a ridiculous swing when it's paired with Preparation.

    Dr. Boom just made me sad. It's nice to see a self-callback, and he's a bit harder to pull off with the new condition, but I just don't want to play against Boombots ever again.

    I feel bad for being scared rather than excited, but it is what it is :/ 

  • Aggressive Bomb Warrior seems really spooky to me.  Dr. 7 is back

  • Well new Malygos Rogue combo. At some point play Toggwaggle to get the wand.Then Play Malygos and shuffle him with Togwaggle Scheme.Next turn Wand, drop 1-3 Malygoses and have 7 mana left for damaging spells...To make sure it works I suppose you can Myra's unstable evolution once you have all the combo pieces

    • I believe the scientific term is Malygeese.

  • 100% my favorite card has to be Heistbaron Togwaggle So much flavor and such a scary card if you can get at least 2 treasures from it

  • the Bomb deck looks legitimately cancerous...RNG on draw is already BS enough,, just imagine being one turn away from stabilizing and you jsut happen to draw into 4 bombs out of 15 cards or something.

    With both Rush Warrior and Dragon Warrior also existing I feel like this is Warriorstone incoming. Keep your Warrior classics, we might get some nerfs...
