MARVEL SNAP's Hot Location this weekend is Onslaught's Citadel!

Onslaught's Citadel is a paradise for powerful Ongoing effects like the one belonging to Iron Man. It's a chance to try out every random Ongoing card in your collection, underused stars like Omega Red and Super Skrull (if you have the Series 4 card) just to see how powerful they really are. Or, you can run Enchantress and shut everything down.

However you choose to plan for the Hot Location, you'd better get used to it; being a Hot Location means that Onslaught's Citadel will have a 60% chance to appear for 24 hours, from 7 PM PT Saturday night to 7 PM PT Sunday night (2 AM UTC Sunday to 2 AM UTC Monday).

Ongoing: Your total Power is doubled at this location. On Reveal: Remove the abilities from all Ongoing cards at this location.

Hot Decks for Onslaught's Citadel

Series 1 Ongoing

Iron Man is the card most likely to shine with an Onslaught's Citadel hot location, and this Series 1 Ongoing list is one that you can try that's packed with Ongoing effects to double with the hot location.

Series 2 Ongoing

Series 2 has a couple of useful Ongoing cards to add to the Spectrum synergy, and can still rely on the power of Iron Man to help win the hot location. Not every card here wants to be played to the Citadel (like Ebony Maw), but they're great for winning that second location.

Series 3 Patriot Surfer

Iron Man is once more going to shine with the hot location, thanks to this Patriot deck that can use the Citadel to double his doubling, and increase the discount you get from Sera.

Series 3 Negative Panther

This Mister Negative deck is an attempt to break Onslaught's Citadel. It's running plenty of good targets for the Negative swap: Iron Man, Arnim Zola, Mystique, with the added use of powerful Ongoing effects from Sera and Wong to really go off.

Series 3 Omega Combo

The hot location is the perfect time to try out Omega Red, if you have him. This deck uses Zabu to decrease the cost of several useful 4-Drops so you can more easily get them into play. Then it tops out at Iron Man and Onslaught to really win the hot location (and likely the others, too).

What are Hot Locations in MARVEL SNAP?

There are two different types of location events in MARVEL SNAP.

• Sunday's Hot Location that have a 60% chance to appear for the next 24 hours.
• Wednesday's Featured Location that have a 40% chance to appear for the next 48 hours.

Unlike the Featured Location (which is always a new Location), Sunday's Hot Location will pull from the pool of existing Locations. Its increased appearance rate will shake up the meta for a day - for example, Odin was the finisher of choice for many players when Kamar-Taj was the Hot Location.
