Dragonflight's August Trading Post is Live! Easiest Tasks to Complete, New Rewards

The August 2023 edition of the Trading Post is here! There are some great new transmog pieces available, including some epic class pieces, and a new list of tasks to complete in the Traveler's Log.

This month's theme is "Face Off" so let's jump right in!

August 2023 Traveler's Log - The Big Reward

This month's big reward for completing your Traveler's Log bar is Ensemble: Bones of the Blood Hunter. Earn 1400 points via completing tasks in your Traveler's Log to unlock this awesome tribal mog.

Shadowmourne not included.

August 2023 Trading Post Mounts

Three mounts are available this month through the trading post. The first two were previously available via the WoW's 15th Anniversary Collector's Edition or in the Blizzard Shop.

• [650] Alabaster Thunderwing - Horde Only
• [650] Alabaster Stormtalon - Alliance Only

Which brings us to the third one, the Ancestral Clefthoof. It may look familiar to some players as this is a recolor of the Clefthoof mounts from Warlords of Draenor. It can be yours for 650 Trader's Tender.

Easy Traveler's Log Tasks to Complete

If you're looking for some easy tasks to complete this month, here are our top picks!

• [250] Defeat 25 Raid Bosses
  • Time to hit up some old raids and blast through them to fill in a quick chunk of that journal.
  • Naxxramas and Ulduar make quick work of this task. 
• [200] Win 15 Pet Battles
  • Bring out a team of any level pets and run around starting zones to quickly defeat level 1 critters. Durotar & Elwynn Forest are great for this.
• [250] Complete the Little Scales Daycare Storyline (Wowhead Guide)
  • This is a trivial questline in the Dragon Isles. It has follow-up daily quests that reward progression too.
• [200] "Work It" Trial of Style Quests
  • Not everyone may like the Trial of Style, but these quests simply involve emoting at an NPC.
  • Easy 200 points for 10 total quests - which also apply to...
• [200] Complete 30 Quests
  • It's very easy to complete quests. You don't almost don't even need to seek them out and they just happen.

This upcoming weekend, Darkmoon Faire returns and with it a few tasks that are trivial:

• [50] Complete 1 Darkmoon Race
• [100] Complete 4 Darkmoon Races
• [150] Participate in the Blight Boar Concert

And that does it for getting 1400 points in your Traveler's Log. If any of the above don't fit your fancy, or you want to get this done in advance of Darkmoon Faire, here are some other options:

• [150] Complete 15 World Quests
  • This will take a bit of time, but easily accomplished.
• [100] Fish Up Items in Outland
  • No fishing skill is required!
• [100] Defeat a Dragon Isles World Boss
  • There are always groups available so get in on the action.
• [150] Earn Reputation Throughout the Dragon Isles
  • You can accumulate this passively... or turn in rep tokens!

Additionally, if you've been playing this game for a while, you may have already logged in and received 100 points in the Traveler's Log. This was thanks to having Exalted status with the Scryers or Aldor factions from The Burning Crusade.
