ConcernedApe, the creator of the critically acclaimed Stardew Valley farming simulation game, has posted a brand new screenshot of his upcoming title, Haunted Chocolatier.
The screenshot features a new theme for the text boxes, which in previous screenshots were using frames that were a bit closer to the look in Stardew Valley. It should be noted that this does not confirm that the boxes have changed across the entire game, only that a new style exists. It is completely possible that our old man friend here has special text boxes compared to everyone else.

Not a whole lot is known about the game yet, though it has the same incredible visuals that Stardew Valley is known for. ConcernedApe is keeping as much as possible a secret so players will have "more fun" and have a sense of "surprise and delight" as everyone plays the game. What we do know though is Haunted Chocolatier is an RPG/simulation game where you take on the role of a chocolatier who lives in a haunted castle. You get to gather ingredients to make and sell delicious chocolates - pretty much everyone's dream job.
Does this game take place in the Stardew Valley universe? Is the waking old man your Grandpa from Stardew Valley whom you inherited the farm from? They do share a few similarities when compared to his sprite in Stardew, pictured below. Do we even exist?
Haunted Chocolatier is currently in development and does not have a release date.
