The latest Nintendo Direct just concluded, and while it wasn't their best outing ever, it still had a number of interesting announcements, ending with a heavily requested classic coming to the Switch. - Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
- New 2D entry in the Prince of Persia series.
- Warrior Within outfit available if you pre-order the game.
- No new information, but the trailer presented showed some new gameplay.
- Available January 18.
- Horizon Chase 2
- Arcade racing game.
- Available right now on the e-shop.
- Super Crazy Rhythm Castle
- Rhythm adventure game where you solve puzzles and fight bosses to the beat.
- Over 45 tracks, including music from Iconic Konami games.
- Up to 4-player local or online Co-Op.
- Available November 14.
- SPYxANYA: Operation Memories
- Adventure game based on the SPYxFAMILY anime.
- You take control of Anya to do a variety of activities.
- Available next year.
- SaGa Emerald Beyond
- Square Enix RPG.
- A new entry in the SaGa series, you get to take control of up to 6 characters.
- Turn based combat with the ability to control the order of your characters.
- Available next year.
- Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft
- Remasters of the original 3 games with overhauled graphics.
- Developed by WayForward, known for the Shantae series, Double Dragon Neon, and Ducktales: Remastered.
- Available February 14th 2024.
- Trombone Champ
- Rhythm game where you need to play a trombone.
- You can control the cursor using the Joycons' movement or even the IR camera.
- Up to 4-player co-op.
- Available later today.
- BATTLE CRUSH
- Isometric brawler where you fight enemies across a large map.
- Beta available between October 23rd and 30th.
- Wartales
- Turn-based RPG.
- You lead a group of mercenaries across a gritty medieval world.
- Available now.
- Contra: Operation Galuga
- Re-make of the original Contra game.
- Uses 3D graphics, modern sound, and an updated weapons system.
- New enemies, stages and play mechanics.
- Up to 2 player co-op in Story Mode or 4 players in Arcade Mode.
- "Coming Soon".
- Unicorn Overlord
- RPG from the creators of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim and Odin Sphere.
- Hand-drawn assets and "an innovative battle system".
- Releases March 8th 2024.
- Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story
- Isometric adventure/town management pixel-art game set in the League of Legends universe.
- From the creators of Graveyard Keeper and Punch Club.
- Coming 2024.
- Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story
- 3D adventure game from Tequila Works set in the League of Legends universe.
- You take control of Nunu and Willump as they platform and solve puzzles across the frozen region of the Freljord.
- Available November 1st 2023.
- Eastward: Octopia
- DLC for the base version of Eastward.
- Can be played without needing to play the main story.
- Coming this holiday.
- Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes
- JRPG that combines high-rez 2D sprites with 3D backgrounds.
- Choose between 100 unique heroes to create a party of 6 characters.
- Available April 23rd 2024.
- Wargroove 2
- Sequel to the 2019 strategy game.
- New roguelike mode, as well as the ability to create custom maps and cutscenes.

- Game where you dive in the ocean to catch fish for a restaurant.

- New "The Fungle" map coming in October.
First Party Announcements
- Mario vs Donkey Kong
- Remake of the GBA original.
- Platform your way through small levels while solving observation puzzles to stop Donkey Kong.
- Local co-op available.
- Launches February 16th 2024.
- Super Mario RPG
- Remake of the SNES original.
- New mechanics added to the game, like damaging all enemies at once with the proper timing, a chargeable Triple Move team attack, and post-game boss rematches.
- Available November 17th.
- Another Code: Recollection
- Duo of adventure games with puzzle elements.
- Contains the remakes of Another Code: Two Memories for the DS and Another Code: R – A Journey into Lost Memories on the Wii.
- Available January 19th.
- Princess Peach: Showtime!
- Princess Peach solo game!
- Game is set-up as a number of stage plays where Peach must defeat enemies.
- She can transform into a number of different forms that give her various abilities.
- So far we've seen a form that can fight with a sword, a detective that can find clues, a pastry chef that can make a number of sweets, and a martial artist form.

- Detective Pikachu Returns
- A remake of the 3DS detective game where you interview people and pokemon to find your missing father.
- Available October 6th.
- Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD
- Remake of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon for the 3DS.
- Adds higher-definition graphics and a 4-player co-op mode.
- Available Summer 2024.
- WarioWare: Move It!
- New entry in the WarioWare series.
- Over 200 micro-games, most of which will require you to get into a specific pose.
- Up to 4-player co-op.
- Available November 3rd.
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - Booster Course Pass Wave 6
- New Course: Daisy Circuit (Wii)
- New Characters: Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, Pauline, Peachette.
- Available this holiday, Nintendo Switch Online subscribers have free access.
- Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
- Remake of the Gamecube classic.
- Game seems largely unchanged.
- Coming in 2024.

Detective Pikachu Returns isn't a remake. It's a sequel to 3DS's Detective Pikachu.
Oh! Sorry about that. The story breakdown follows the events of the movie (at least at first glance), and I just assumed that one was adapting the first game. Definitely should've looked into it more, my bad.
