Prime Gaming and Blizzard have teamed up to bring back an iconic pet that was previously only available via the Recruit-a-Friend program - the Zipao Tiger. Originally though, players in the west were unable to get this pet at all as it was only available in Taiwan to players who prepaid for a certain amount of game time back in 2010. Mists of Pandaria brought the pet to western players through Recruit-a-Friend, though it was short lived as Blizzard later sunset the program.

It's safe to say if you're a pet collector and you missed out on getting this through Recruit-a-Friend, you won't want to miss out on the promotion!

Available until October 24, the Zipao Tiger can be yours by simply heading over to the Prime Gaming site and hitting the button to get the in-game content - assuming of course you are an Amazon Prime member.

To claim your Zipao Tiger Pet:

For Pets, you can summon it using the following steps:

  1. Open your Collections and select the "Pet Journal" tab.

  2. Manually locate or use the search bar to search for the desired pet.

  3. Left Click on the pet’s name and press the "Summon" Button at the bottom left of the Pet Journal.

  4. Your pet will now appear by your side and follow you around.

You can also drag a pet icon to your action bar and left click on the icon for easier access and quicker summons.

Note that some pets may require certain conditions to be met before they can be summoned, such as being in a specific location or having a certain level of reputation with a faction. Additionally, some classes may have unique pets that can only be summoned by using certain abilities or talents.
