I need to tame my expectations for Blizzcon this year but still way too excited. I'm interested in the number of ppl attending coz damn, those ticket sale numbers don't look good. Even the scalpers are reducing their ticket prices to almost half: https://www.reddit.com/r/Asmongold/comments/17eiwvu/blizzcon_resale_prices_are_dropping/
I think people are aware it's mostly just WoW news this year, with D4 and Overwatch 2 being pretty freshly launched for them to have big news at Blizzcon. Also, considering how recent Blizzcons haven't been particularly... flawless (gonna have an article on this later lol), Blizzcon 2023 might be similar to WoW: Dragonflight - an expansion that's pretty good, but it'll take until next expansion for people to 'buy in' again.
Oh very true but also think there are external factors preventing ppl from attending the in person event. Almost everything from flights to accommodation have doubled in price since covid so I'm not surprised Blizzcon hasn't sold out.
