Geometry Dash's 2.2 update brought new features to the level editor which has enabled players to explore new types of community-created content. They have been hard at work with the changes to recreate other games in Geometry Dash. 

Here are some highlights from the 2.2 patch

  • New game type: Platformer
  • Over 700 New Icons
  • Over 100 New Achievements
  • Camera Controls and Shader Effects

Here are a few examples of new levels people are creating.

Five Nights at Freddy's

Reddit user u/abs0lutely shared the Fight Nights at Freddy's level being worked on by YaY it even has working doors and cameras.

Yumi Nikki

Twitter user @claaaaaaaraaaa is working on remaking the entirety of Yumi Nikki in Geometry Dash it looks really good so far.

Nitro Man's Stage

Reddit User u/venesisz recreated Nitro Man's stage from Megaman 10 you can play the level yourself using this ID 98229421.

SNES Rainbow Road

Rainbow Road is one of the most iconic Mario Kart tracks of all time and it was recreated in Geometry Dash by DoublePositive you can play the level with this ID 97866794.

It's very impressive what people have been able to accomplish in this new Geometry Dash update in such a short amount of time and I'm looking forward to what will be created next.
