The update also introduces a tweak to perks such as Shadowborn and Monitor and Abuse, with changes focused on field-of-view adjustments. A significant change comes to the generator system aiming to suppress the power of the popular 3-gen strategy. After eight regressions on a certain generator, it can no longer be regressed by the Killer this also comes with the removal of "gen tapping" requiring you to repair a generator 5% to stop the regression.

Alan Wake, joins Dead by Daylight as a new survivor. He comes with the perks Champion of Light, Boon: Illumination, and Deadline.

Moreover, the killers haven't been overlooked in this update. Detailed modifications have been made to The Hillbilly's abilities and power-ups, aimed at making the Chainsaw more effective and enjoyable. Overdrive mode is introduced, Chainsaw Sprint movement speed is increased, and several add-ons have had their functions changed.

Additionally, small adjustments and changes have been made to multiple maps including Mount Ormond, as well as numerous bug fixes across the board. All these changes aim for a smoother and more balanced gameplay experience for both Killers and Survivors.
