Comments
2019: Battlegrounds
2020: Building new decks as always
2019: Saviors of Uldum Intro Song
2020: New rotating format (brawl block)
2019: in march when i got to legend the first time
2020: some intense and exciting matches in HS grandmaster league
2019: Release of the dragon expansion.
2020: Maybe a new mode, something like draft from Magic?
I think the arena format was Blizzards take on draft.
But I would like to see something like arena where you can draft with maybe 10 card packs and keep the cards you drafted, and maybe even draft with other real people. That would be pretty amazing.
2019: I played the hell out of Battlegrounds
2020: I can't wait to see what new things Blizz tries with solo content or other new modes
2019: Battlegrounds for sure
2020: To see a way for Whizbang to continue its standard rotation.
In 2019 it would have to be the launch of The BattleGrounds
In 2020 I am waiting for The Battlegrounds to come out of Beta.
2019: Best moment was playing prenerf pirate rogue
2020: Looking forward to blizzard deleting priest
2019: BGs release
2020: Some sort of seasonal reward to BGs like the montly chest for ladder
2019: Battlegrounds is awesome
2020: New ways to play hearthstone in different modes (new adventure mechanics / new brawl ideas / new battlegrounds variants )
2019: BG announcement.
2020: More BG.
Favourite moment for me would be the Rise of the Mech update, since they finally decided to buff cards.
In 2020 I'm looking forward to see new ways of getting gold if they ever decide to do that, because it's getting harder and harder to keep up with all the cards being added to the game.
2019 : Team 5 trying to give hearthstone a new aspect after BB era. Story telling with the league of E.V.I.L, new shop, more meta shifting with nerfs buffs, quite balance meta with all classes playable most of the times
2020 : I'm looking forward for a new dust economy
2019: The initial release of battlegrounds. I've mostly burned myself out on it but it was great having something really new to experience.
2020: Rotation. The first couple of weeks when sets rotate out is always great, outside of the fact that there always seems to be one tier one deck that doesn't lose anything important.
Fav 2019: Finally getting into Battlegrounds after trying everything for early access.
Looking forward to in 2020: I hope they redesign some classes, like Rogue and Priest. They can only be too strong or too weak, apparently...
Favourite 2019 moment: The year-long narrative and the fun characters: the E.V.I.L. Leaders and the Explorers made this year much more memorable than any other year before.
Looking forward in 2020: Finishing the Year of the Dragon's story in Galakrond's Awakening, and finding out what Team 5 is planning for the next year. I think the last year was a giant improvement for the game: the surprise success of Battlegrounds, actual card buffs, free legendaries, quick responses to overtuned decks, large events like Doom in the Tomb, revisiting older mechanics like Highlander and expanded solo content (although I dislike it not being free, like it was between Frozen Throne and Rastakhan. Yes, there's more content than in Rumble Run or the others, but we only got a few packs alongside that for paying. I don't think it warrants the 20 €/$ price). I hope it's going to be even better: Tournament Mode maybe? More Battlegrounds content? I can't wait to see!
2019: New 1000 win hero portraits - gave me a reason to play all the classes again
2020: New formats to play
Best of 2019? Definitely Descend of Dragons as a whole
Hopes for 2020? Dragons in BG
