Sea of Stars to Add "Single Player+", a 3-Player Co-Op Mode

Sea of Stars, winner of the Best Independent Game at the 2023 Game Awards, will soon have a new trick of its sleeve: co-op! Sometime in the future, the RPG will be introducing "Single Player+", which will allow up to three players to roam around together. The combat will also allow for "Co-op timed hits", because teamwork makes the dream work! We'll know more soon, but for now all we have is a brief video.

Dubbed "Single Player+", this mode allows for three players to journey together in Sea of Stars. Staying true to the game’s core turn-based roots, each player will engage in traversal and combat with a new "Co-op timed hits" mechanic as they embark with friends on Sea of Stars’ grand adventure.

The new mode is currently in development and more details are set to be released soon.
