Grinding Gear Games Teases Path of Exile 2's Ranger Class

We've learned some new details about Path of Exile 2's Ranger! Here's what we've pulled from the latest Path of Exile stream.

Path of Exile 2 Ranger

• Any basic skill can be fired while moving as the Ranger, there is a slight movement penalty.
  • You can ride a Rhoa and shoot with no movement penalties. Don't get knocked off!
• Snipe is a skill shot. If you land it right, its a 100% critical strike chance.
• Lightning Rod shoots an arrow into the air and stick into the ground. 
  • These can be stacked up and you can bounce lightning effects between them.
• Shock Proliferation can bounce lightning between enemies.
• Barrage is a cooldown skill that makes your next attack fire three times.
• Electricuting Rod jumps over enemies and shoots them. If you fill a gauge on the monster, they will be stunned.
  • Neural Overload gem makes the gauge trigger at 50% instead, making it more useful.
• Vine Arrow fires an arrow into the air and puts a plant onto the ground which slows and poisons enemies.
• Poison Bloom fires an arrow that explodes poison all over.
• Pierce Support does exactly what you'd expect - skills pierce enemies.
• Gas Cloud Arrow shoots the ground and continuously poisons the area.
  • Works great with your plants, as they take in more poison, they grow.
  • These can be exploded with fire.
• Plague Bearer a reservation skill, using spirit, that counts up a counter when you apply poison to a monster.
• Rain of Arrows shoots arrows into the sky and pushes them down.
  • Frenzy charges extend its duration.
• Sniper's Mark gets placed onto enemies and grants you Frenzy Charges against them.
• Corrode Armor Support causes poison to erode armor on enemies until it is gone.
• Exploit Weakness provides extra damage to targets that have their armor broken.
