Ubisoft has announced a release window for the remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time!

We don't have an exact date, but Ubisoft is currently targeting 2026 for The Sands of Time. Ubisoft has previously announced that a remake was in development all the way back at Ubisoft Forward 2020. The title saw a number of delays with Ubisoft stating "This extra development time will enable our teams to deliver a remake that feels fresh while remaining faithful to the original".

The project has been passed around to a few of Ubisoft's studios over the years, now firmly in the hands of Ubisoft Montreal, and prior to today's update they had issued a statement last November on the 20th anniversary of the original game's launch.
