The first ever VR Showcase just took place earlier today, and it brought with it quite a good number of announcements. 17 games from 7 different studios were shown during the presentation, from existing titles coming to new platforms to brand new IPs, from remakes of classic titles to ports of flat-screen games into VR. Below is a trailer for each game, along with a link to the VR Showcase page for it. Let's see what's coming!

Note: When mentioning "Meta Quest systems", we're talking about the Quest 3 or Pro, as the Meta Quest 2 or lower are unlikely to be supported.

Hitman III VR: Reloaded | Meta Quest 3

Return to the world of assassination in virtual reality with Hitman III VR: Reloaded. Go in guns blazing, or stay hidden and take out your target undetected. This game features levels from the original Hitman III, retooled for VR. Coming exclusively to Meta Quest III.

Arizona Sunshine Remake | Meta Quest, PS VR2, PC VR

A remake of the original zombie-killing game. Survive waves of undead in the harsh sunlight of the Arizona desert. Coming later this year, Arizona Sunshine Remake will offer a 10 USD upgrade for owners of the original.

Action Hero | Meta Quest, PC VR

Super Hot meets Hollywood blockbusters! Action Hero sees you gunning your way through 5 "movies" as you fight ninjas, dinosaur, and bad guys, the latter on a moving train. The game moves only when you do, so choose what you do and when you do it carefully.

Grim | Meta Quest, PC VR

A wise man once said "You can't just blow a hole in the surface of Mars". Well, apparently you can build bases, fend off the local fauna, and fight against other players. Grim is a multiplayer crafting-survival game on the surface of Mars, where you'll have to make a base and protect it both from wildlife and other players, as the game supports simultaneous PvP and PvE. Coming 2024.

Silent North | Meta Quest, PC VR

Can you make it out of a zombie outbreak in the cold Swiss Alps? Silent North is a PvPvE survival MMO title that you can tackle alone or with friends. Kill zombies, find resources to survive, and try not to get taken down by other players. Coming 2025

Escaping Wonderland | Meta Quest, Pico

Alice has fallen into Wonderland! Can you help her escape? This is a 3D puzzle-platformer where you, as a disembodied entity, help Al-no, I'm sorry, Molly navigate her way through a world where logic makes no sense and you must find a new perspective on things to progress. Escaping Wonderland launches September 26th.

Mannequin | Meta Quest, PC VR

The world has frozen in place thanks to a new alien threat. Special agents are sent to dispatch the invaders, but they must be careful: The aliens can shapeshift and pretend to be part of the frozen scenery. Mannequin is an asymmetric PvP game where up to two agents must find up to three aliens that can hide in plain sight an paralyze said agents. Game is out now in Early Access, with a full launch coming in September.

Frenzies | Meta Quest, PS VR2 

From the developers of Synapse comes a new PvP shooter with a very colorful and neon-y aesthetic. Choose a hero and traverse the environment at high speeds, all while shooting down other players - assuming they don't get you first, of course. Frenzies launches in October 2024 in early access.

Band Space | Meta Quest, PC VR

Have you ever wanted to start a band? Well now's your chance, and without the exorbitant costs that comes with it. Band Space is a co-op rhythm game where you and your friends relive the good ol' days of Guitar Hero, while expanding the available instruments to guitar, bass, drums, and keyboard. Coming this Fall.

Into the Radius | PS VR2

The sci-fi survival shooter set in the titular Radius is making its way to the PlayStation. Avoid various deadly anomalies that will kill you on sight, and survive as long as possible using realistic VR recreations of tons of weapons, like the M4A1, MP412 REX, and, of course, the AK-47. Into the Radius is already out on Meta Quest and PC, and will be coming to the PS VR2 on September 19.

Fracked | Meta Quest

The skiing-shooter makes its way to the Meta Quest. Fill your enemies with bullets while sliding down a snowy mountain at high speed, and look stylish while doing it (you do, trust us). Fracked is already out for PC and the original PS VR, and is coming to Meta Quest systems August 29th.

Silent Slayers | PC VR

Have you ever disarmed a bomb? Great, now replace the bombs with unholy creatures of the night, and you've got Silent Slayers. You must disarm the vampire coffins (quietly, I might add), then drive a stake through their heart to finish the job. Fail, and you're a midnight snack! Game is already out on Meta Quest systems, with a PC release coming October 10th.

Vendetta Forever | Meta Quest, PS VR2

Yet another way to relive Hollywood-style cinematic shootouts! In Vendetta Forever, after you kill an enemy, you can instantly teleport to their weapon (which is still hanging in the air), and continue your killing spree from a new angle. Releasing in 2024, with a demo available now on Meta Quest devices.

Flat2VR Studios | Meta Quest, PS VR2, PC VR

Last, but certainly not least, we have a recently-founded studio, specialized in porting flat-screen games to VR, announcing 4 ports coming to the medium. Flatout, Wrath: Aeon of Ruin, Roboquest and Trombone Champ: Unflattened are coming to all the platforms mentioned in the heading. You have all the trailers down below.
