Nintendo's latest direct just concluded, and it was a double feature of Indie World and Partner Showcase. This article quickly goes over each title announced. 

Indie World

Showcase of various indie games coming to the Switch in the near future. Silksong was not present here.

Balatro

A free update that crosses over with The Witcher, Vampire Survivors, Dave the Diver, and Among Us. Available for free later today.

Neva

A hand-drawn adventure where you care for a wolf-like creature as it grows into adulthood. Announced a while ago, but now it has a release date: October 15.

Moth Kubit

An experimental RPG where you play as the titular Moth Kubit in an adventure set in a corporate environment. The trailer showed a good number of mini-games that you'll encounter throughout. Launches in Spring 2025.

Coffee Talk Tokyo 

A new entry in the Coffee Talk series, this one taking place in Japan's capital. Make coffee for various customers as you listen to their stories. Coming in 2025.

Sea of Stars: Throes of the Watchmaker

A free(!) DLC for Sea of Stars that sees you trying to infiltrate a Fair to find out their secrets. Coming in 2025.

PowerWash Simulator - Shrek Special Pack

A DLC pack that sees you clean the house of the big green ogre himself. Coming soon.

Morsels

Top-down rogue-lite with a varied cast of characters. Looks similar to The Binding of Issac if it had a more pixel-art style. Coming February 2025.

Date Everything

A dating sim where you can date everything: the vacuum, the towels, the lamp, your creeping sense of existential dread, even the kitchen sink. Coming October 24th, 2024.

Peglin

A rogue-like where you play as Goblin trying to stop dragons from ruining your day. What sets the game apart is the pachinko-inspired board that fills up most of the screen and improves your attacks the more pegs your remove. Available now.

Wobbly Life

An open-world physics sandbox where you can do a lot of stuff. Coming in December.

Pico Park 2

Co-op multiplayer puzzle platformer for up to 8 players. Available later today.

Shovel Knight: Shovel of Hope DX 

Shovel Knight is coming to Nintendo Switch. Explore an adventure inspired by classics like Mega Man and Ducktales, with 4 campaigns played with 4 different characters. Coming in 2025.

Europa

A chill adventure game where you soar across the titular Europa, one of Jupiter's moons. Launches October 11th, 2024.

Cuisineer

A dungeon crawler and restaurant sim combination. Explore dungeons and kill monsters, then gather ingredients and bring them back to your restaurant to serve. Launches January 28th.

On Your Tail 

An adventure puzzle game where you explore a vacation spot and try to solve the local mysteries. Launches November 21st.

Metal Slug Tactics

A tactics game inspired by the classic side-scrollers. Deploy your troops and try to take out your enemies in turn-based combat. Launches this Fall.

Pizza Tower

A Wario World-like platformer where you traverse various levels, then make your way back to the entrance as quickly as possible. Available later today.

Partner Showcase

Games coming to the Switch in the near future from various 3rd party publishers. Silksong was not present here either.

Tetris Forever

A collection of 9 Tetris games from across the title's lifespan, plus a new game called Tetris Time Warp, that sees you swap between styles whenever you finish a level. Available later this year.

NES version and Tetris 99 coming this winter to Switch Online subscribers.

Star Overdrive

Action game that sees you traverse the world at high-speeds on your trusty hoverboard, with fast-paced combat on top. Launches in 2025.

Goat Simulator 3

Confusingly, the second entry in the Goat Simulator series. You're a goat wreacking havoc on a physics-based world. Available today, with a physical version in November.

SpongeBob Squarepants: The Patrick Star Game

A Spongebob game where you play as Patrick. Looks to be a 3D platformer, like Battle for Bikini Bottom. Launches October 24th.

Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer

The third entry in the fitness series. Features multiple trainer to choose from and multiple songs to train to. Available December 5th.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2

A collection of classic Capcom fighting games. Includes the following 8 games:

  • Capcom vs SNK2: Mark of the Millenium 2001
  • Power Stone
  • Power Stone 2

Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land

The latest entry in the Atelier series. Features fast-paced combat and an RPG dialogue system. Coming early 2025.

Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars

A remastered bundle of the first two Suikoden games. Launches March 6th, 2025.

DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D Remake

An HD-2D remake of the third Dragon Quest game. Launches November 14 Remakes of the first two will be released later. 

Castlevania Dominus Collection

A collection containing 3 classic Castlevania games initially released for the Nintendo DS - Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Order of Ecclesia - plus a reimagined version of Haunted Castle, the very first Castlevania game for the arcade. Available today.

Sid Meier’s Civilization VII

The latest entry in the grand strategy game. Forge alliances, develop technologies, and keep Gandhi away from the nukes. Available February 11th, 2025.

Tales of Graces f Remastered

A remaster of the 12th instalment in the Tales RPG series, originally released for the Wii in 2009, and for the Playstation 3 in 2010. Launches January 17th, 2025.

MySims – Cozy Bundle

A bundle containing MySims and MySims Kingdom, two cozy island simulators. Available November 19th.

Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2

First person horror game set in the Five Nights at Freddy's world, and a sequel to the Help Wanted spin-off. Available Holyday 2024.

A free story DLC for Security Breach, called Ruin, will also come around then.

Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma

The latest entry in the Rune Factory series, which combines city building and management with fast-paced combat. Launches Spring 2025.

Montage!

The following are two montages of games that were announced and Nintendo wants to remind you they exist. 

Yakuza Kiwami

The show closer is the remake of the first Yakuza game. As Kazuma Kiryu, a member of the Yakuza who spent 10 years in prison after being framed for his boss' murder, and must now re-adjust to life as a free man. Available October 24th.
