Pokemon TCG Pocket, the latest iteration of the Pokemon trading card game for mobile phones, has released a tad early on 10/29! Some people were playing it early via "visiting" New Zealand during the soft launch, but that's no longer a problem with the global release.

Featuring a revised set of rules to make for quicker games, Pocket also includes a timer-based system for opening packs. With new "immersive" art on some of the rarer cards, along with classic art from some of the earliest Pokemon TCG games, it seems like Pocket could make for a cozy collector's paradise.

#PokemonTCGPocket allows you to open two booster packs every day at no cost. Collect digital cards featuring nostalgic artwork from the past as well as brand-new ones that are exclusive to Pokémon TCG Pocket. The Wonder Pick feature is another great way to obtain cards, giving you a chance to get a card from a booster pack that someone else has opened. Once you’ve built a collection of cards, take them into battles using 20-card decks and streamlined rules for fun and fast action. Features like auto-battle, auto-build, and rental decks are also available to help players of all skill levels enjoy these exciting matches.
